Blog Fixed

Well, after a few days of tinkering, I finally got the blog back to operational again. Earlier this year, someone hacked a bunch of mediatemple stuff and wreaked havoc on my websites. Had I remembered that they were all stored in SVN in the beginning, I would have quickly fixed them, but I tinkered with stuff for a while first, then had to rebuild my subversion repos after I got everything working properly again.

Needless to say, its now good and happy, and my subversion is up to date, so I should be able to repair it super fast should anything happen to it again.

I am going to retire next year and my wife and I will be moving to Cuenca Ecuador. I have a pair of AR3A’s in mint condition that I bought when I was 17 back in 1967. Also have an AR S500 sub with Sunfire 500 watt amp. I am going to look for an appropriately good home for both. 3A’s have been maintained through the years by AR, and they even put in new crossovers and new grill cloths a few years back.
I drive them with a Harmon Kardon AVR510 with 5.1 and they still sound as good as the day I bought them. The sub is simply a monster, watching an action movie makes it sound like the helicopter is landing on the roof. My other speakers are an Infinity center channel and Definitive towers for front left and right. I can move dishes in cupboards five houses away when cranked!
What is the best way to market these jewels to audiophiles?
    Thanks
    Michael

    Michael,
Congrats on the upcoming retirement.. Are you sure you want to get rid of those now that you will have all kinds of time to actually listen to them?

I have found that posting things on HT Forum has always brought quality enthusiasts to the table. Most of the members there really can appreciate such things. I am currently driving my setup with a Marantz SR6005.

I would love to get my hands on a Hi-Res series AR S500 or S300, but every time someone lets me know they have one, its not in the budget. One of these I will have one to complete the collection.
