I have had some people ask me what Wikiism is, and in all honesty, its a word I made up (although someone else may also have made it up too) to describe what happens when browsing a wiki or blog or any website with a format where there is lots of interlinked pages that you can quickly lose yourself in. I think the first one of these immersive pages I found was way back in the mid 90s – The Pages of BOF. The original pages have apparently been relegated to Internet history, however Internet Archive was kind enough to archive a fair portion of the website. CAUTION! If you visit the BOF archive, be prepared to experience Wikiism at its best. Don’t say I didnt warn you.
