When a good PIX goes bad

I am just writing this quick post to vent my frustrations about Cisco PIX. Apparently, in my environment, it has been deemed a good idea to use PIX firewalls in front of VOIP clients, and replacing a CPE device apparently tricks the PIX into thinking you are spoofing your data, since the new information now comes from a different MAC address. Stateful Inspection then apparently drops the packets due to them appearing to be spoofed. Solution? Reload the PIX. This could get really old, really fast. If anyone out there is a PIX expert and knows why my SIP stopped working after I replaced the IAD until I rebooted the PIX, please enlighten me.
