I came across this map of online communities by xkcd the other day and found it absolutely fascinating.
I thought it would be nice to share it with everyone, but I urge you to check out the xkcd website for lots of other great cartoons and drawings.

He has another one on his site that is the IPv4 address space mapped out in the form of grass in a field. It also is quite interesting.. Im not sure If I have this kind of time to spend on research.
